Thanks, Frederick. What I have in mind here is something like this. If you take a look at this webpage—https://kirkcenter.org/conservatism/ten-conservative-principles/—you'll see a list of ten "conservative principles" attributed to Russell Kirk, one of the primary architects of the attempt to construct a "conservative ideology" in the 1950s. Every single one of those principles is a perversion of an Enlightenment principle or a twisting of liberal virtue in an attempt to turn it into a "conservative" virtue.

I could start a series taking down each of these in turn. What do you think?

Thanks so much for your suggestions! I like especially the idea of following the psychological evolution (or rather devolution) of conservatism since the 1970s.

Do you have any examples of Republican policy achievements that I should look into?

Thanks,

Scott

A brief history of conservatism in the US, its relationship with anti-communist fervour, its alliance with evangelicalism and its development since the southern strategy. What has been its psychological evolution? Also, perhaps an honest overview of Republican policy achievements that directly benefited American middle and working classes since the mid 70s. Thanks Scott.

I like this part: Would you like me to spend more time detailing the absolute intellectual bankruptcy of every “conservative idea”?

Also, this Christian Nationalism thing is a threat to the first amendment. They flaunt their "christianity" but traffic in lies and falsehoods!
